What to bring?
Here are some general things you might need during the seminar:
- 100 Euro or 800NOK for the fee (NB: there will be no ATM available before Saturday when we head to Oslo)
- Money (cash) if you wish to buy beer/wine, this must be in NOK.
- Paper and pens,
- Food and drinks for the international evening,
- IAESTE Marketing items from your country to share with others (posters, leaflets, etc.),
- WARM!!! clothes and preferably a raincoat (dress for a trip to the north pole).
- Slippers or indoor shoes
- Sports clothes and shoes
- Towel
- IAESTE T-shirts from your country to exchange with others.
- If you stay longer in Norway, please check the hostel websites. It might be you will need a bed linen.
International Evening
When you are preparing the stuff you will need for the international evening, please consider the following points:
- A table will be organised for you,
- The use of the kitchen might be restricted. So it is better to bring food, which doesn't need to be cooked. Please also check with the organisers!
- If you need dishes or cutlery to display your goods on the table, please, send a list of the material you need to the organizer, who will check if it is available,
- If you need dishes or glasses to serve the food & drinks to the other JUMPers, please, take them with you,
- If you want to post flags, posters, ... from your country, you are welcome. Remember to take with you the necessary tools (like scotch, strings, ... but NOT hammer and nails...).
