Three days of IAESTE workshops on an island the size of a city, with the sea never far away.
JUMP is IAESTE's training and development seminar. It is built for members who are new, and for members who want to understand IAESTE and how it works from the inside.
Over three days we run workshops on how IAESTE runs day to day: raising jobs, managing exchange, keeping a local committee going. Everything is meant to be taken home and used.
You do not need years of experience. You need to be an IAESTE member and to be up for meeting people from other committees.

Malta is small enough to cross in an hour and old enough to have temples that predate the pyramids. In October the crowds have thinned out, the sea is still warm, and the light is at its best.
The eyes on our logo are not decoration. Every luzzu, the wooden fishing boat painted yellow, red and blue, carries a pair on the bow. Fishermen have painted them there for a very long time so the boat can see what is coming.

A limestone campus built by the British in the early 1900s and now a language school, with the whole conference in one place: rooms, workshop spaces, restaurant, bar, garden, volleyball court and a very large swimming pool.
Accommodation is in shared rooms of three people on campus, so there is no commute and nothing to find in the morning.
The sea is a short walk from the campus, and Valletta is roughly twenty minutes away by bus.
IAESTE workshops designed to prepare participants for active involvement in the organisation, alongside social activities that introduce you to Malta and provide opportunities to connect with fellow IAESTE volunteers.

01 · Fly
MLA is the only airport and it is twenty minutes from almost anywhere on the island. Most European capitals have a direct flight, and budget carriers fly here all year.
02 · Cross the island
Public buses run from the airport towards Pembroke and cost a couple of euros. A taxi or Bolt takes about thirty minutes.
03 · Before you fly
Malta is in the EU and the Schengen area. Bring your ID card or passport and your insurance details, and check visa rules early if you need one. We can send an invitation letter.
Any IAESTE member. JUMP is aimed at newer members and at anyone who wants to understand how IAESTE works, but nobody experienced has ever left a JUMP without learning something. Places are allocated per country, so talk to your national secretary or LC board first.
Shared rooms of three people on campus, single-sex by default. If you have accessibility needs, dietary requirements, or you would rather be placed differently, write it in your registration and we will sort it out.
Yes. All meals from arrival to departure, plus coffee breaks. Vegetarian, vegan, halal and allergy-safe options are available if you tell us in advance.
